Kyle Ahern

Kyle is a freshman at The University of Texas at Austin, where he competes on the speech team. He previously competed at Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, FL, where he has served as Vice President and Speech Captain of his team. Kyle has competed in all the Interpretation events and has seen out rounds at national and state tournaments in all of them. Kyle was the 2019 NSDA National Champion in Duo Interpretation. He is a two time Florida state champion in Duo Interpretation, a two time Duo champion at Florida Blue Key, a three time Duo champion at Cypress Bay’s Tradition, and has seen Duo final rounds at The Tournament of Champions, Emory University (3x), the New York City Invitational, The University of Texas at Austin, and the Sunvitational (2x). Other notable accolades include POI championships at Florida Blue Key, Nova Titan, and Cypress Bay’s Tradition. He has seen POI final rounds at George Mason University, Emory University, Florida Varsity States, the New York City Invitational, and the Sunvitational. Additionally, Kyle was named the 2019 individual sweepstakes award winner at George Mason University’s Patriot Games. Kyle absolutely adores his ISD family and cannot wait to further contribute to the ISD Difference this summer.
