Lillian Adeyemi is entering her nineteenth year as an educator and just completed her first year as Director of Forensics at Seven Lakes High School and first term as the President of the Texas Forensic Association (TFA).  Previously she was the Assistant Director at Seven Lakes High School for four years, Director of Forensics at Hastings High School for nine years and at Cy-Woods High School for one year.  She has had a National Champion in Dramatic Interpretation, National Finalist in Prose, Duo, Congress and quarter-finalists in PF.  While at Seven Lakes she helped coach the back to back National Runner ups in Student Congress House, and one who is junior staffer at ISD, Jun Yong Kim.  She has had champions in several events at UT, GMU Patriot Games, Sunvite, Emory, Harvard and NIETOC.  In the state of Texas she has had TFA State Champions in Dramatic, Domestic & Foreign Extemp, and finalist in Congress, Informative, Oratory, Humorous, Duo Interpretation and UIL State Champions in Congress, Prose and Poetry and finalist in LD, Persuasive & Informative Speaking.

When not coaching forensics, Ms. Adeyemi loves going to the theatre, traveling and spending time with family and friends.  She  recently graduated with her Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University in Beaumont and is a certified school counselor in the state of Texas.  She has recently obtained employment at the private practice Pearls of Change Wellness, LLC in Katy, TX and is working to become a Licensed Professional Counselor and Play Therapist.  She is excited to be back with ISD and looking forward to another wonderful summer of learning and fun!
