Lillian Adeyemi is entering her sixteenth year as an educator and third year as Assistant Director at Seven Lakes High School. Previously she was the Director of Forensics at Hastings High School for nine years and at Cy-Woods High School for one year. She has had a National Champion in Dramatic Interpretation, National Finalist in Prose, Duo, and Congress. Last year she helped coach the National Runner up in Student Congress House, Jun Yong Kim who was also an ISD junior staffer in Florida. She has had champions in several events at UT, GMU Patriot Games, Sunvite, Emory, Harvard and NIETOC. In the state of Texas she has had TFA State Champions and Finalist in Congress, Informative, Oratory, Dramatic, Humorous and Duo Interpretation and UIL State Champions in Prose and Poetry.
When not coaching forensics, Ms. Adeyemi loves going to the theatre, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She has recently decided to go back to school to obtain a Masters in School Counseling from Lamar University in Beaumont. She is excited to be back with ISD and looking forward to a wonderful summer of learning and fun!
