Beth is a four-diamond coach who has been competing in or coaching speech for almost thirty years. She grew up in Illinois, attended Illinois State, and was a two-time collegiate finalist in Extemporaneous Speaking. She then coached and taught at Brophy College Prep in Phoenix for sixteen years, during which she coached multiple national finalists and champions in Extemp, Impromptu, and Oratory. In 2019, she moved to Taipei to teach and coach at Taipei American School, and in 2023, she moved to Washington, D.C., to do a Master’s in Divinity program at Virginia Theological Seminary. Beth is thrilled to be joining the ISD staff this summer!
